How do I Create An Gonewild NFT Marketplace Account?
This guide explains the four things you’ll need in place to start buying or selling NFTs on Gonewild.app. You’ll need some digital currency, a crypto wallet, and a verified Gonewild.app account. Let’s get started!
1) Digital Currency (GWG & BNB)
You can get GWG, the digital currency that fuels transactions on the Gonewild Marketplace, from a decentralized currency exchange like PancakeSwap. To buy GWG on PancakeSwap you have to have BNB or any other cryptocurrency based on Binance Smart Chain. You can get BNB on a crypto exchange such as Binance or buy it directly with a credit cart on Floor.trade and then exchange it to GWG on PancakeSwap.
You will need BNB to “mint” an NFT and for gas fees to complete transactions. All transactions on Gonewild NFT marketplace are powered by GWG token, which you’ll need to buy NFTs. You will also be paid directly with GWG tokens when you sell NFTs.
Now that you have BNB, let’s get a crypto wallet.
2) Crypto Wallet
A crypto wallet, such as MetaMask or TrustWallet, stores your BNB and GWG and processes transactions on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain. A unique wallet address will be generated and you will use this address to complete transactions.
All transactions connected to your wallet address can be found on https://bscscan.com It’s always a good idea to check Bscscan.com after completing each transaction.
Why do you need a wallet before buying and selling on Gonewild?
Gonewild.app itself is another tool you use to interact with the blockchain. We never take possession of your items or store your NFTs. Instead, we provide a system for peer-to-peer exchanges. Since you’ll be using Gonewild to interact directly with others on the blockchain, you’ll need a wallet to help you turn your actions in the browser into transactions on the blockchain.
Now that you have a crypto wallet installed, you can connect your wallet address to Gonewild and create an account.
3) Connecting to Gonewild.app
Let’s connect your wallet to Gonewild and edit your profile so you’re ready to begin interacting on our platform. When you arrive at Gonewild.app, you will be prompted to confirm your age. Since the platform allows freedom of content, it’s designed for adult audiences.
To create an account, head over to the top right corner and click sign up:
You will then be prompted to sign up by email or by connecting your wallet. For this example, let’s connect using Metamask.
You will then be prompted to sign in with your wallet:
If you’d like to change your username and edit your profile, click on your default username in the right corner and click on “Personal Info”. Then click on “edit”.
Now you can customize your bio, email address, profile photo, social links, and more. Then click on save and you’re all set to buy any NFT you want!
4) ID verification
If you want to sell NFTs, there’s one more step you need to do, to make sure you’re able to sell NFTs. You have to verify your identity.
First, click on your username at the top right corner and click on ID verification:
Then click on upload documents. We need this to avoid unethical and illegal practices, abuse of minors, and revenge porn:
To submit your verification request, you have to upload 2 photos and click on send documents:
1. A clear and visible photo of your ID, passport, or Driver’s Licence.
2. A clearly visible photo of yourself while holding a sheet of paper with your full name, date, and words written “Gonewild Verification”
Once you’ve done that, click “Send Documents”:
Now your documents are submitted for verification. A member of our team will review and verify your submission within 24 hours and once that’s done, you’ll get a success notification and will be able to start selling NFTs. To upload your first NFT, go to “My NFTs”, then click on “Upload an NFT” and fill out the required information.
Once you submit your NFT it will be sent for verification and once that is done, you will be able to set the price and list your first NFT for sale.
Now you’re all set! If you ever have trouble viewing your items, make sure your wallet is connected correctly.
